We will have approximately 100 employees.
Our fleet will consist of more than 300 cranes.
We will have one large warehouse in Slovenia.

Our story
The beginnings of the company Klančar Žerjavi d.o.o.
The origins of the company Klančar Žerjavi d.o.o. date back to the 1980s when Miro Klančar decided to embark on an independent entrepreneurial path with construction compressors.
The company slowly grew despite unfavorable conditions. Miro made the decision that compressors were not a long-term venture and redirected the focus to cranes. This decision proved crucial on the path to success that the company continues to achieve today. Although the use of cranes was still in its infancy in Slovenia, Miro embraced the challenge, quickly proving to be effective. He states, “From not wanting a crane to not being able to do without it took about a month.”
With perseverance, diligence, and honesty, we transformed such humble beginnings into the company we know today.
Our cranes have been involved in significant projects, such as the construction of the Planica ski flying hill. We were the first to transport a crane to the top of Mount Okrešelj by helicopter with the assistance of the Slovenian Armed Forces. We participated in the construction of the Krško Nuclear Power Plant, the building of the most luxurious hotel in Rovinj, the Second Railway Track, and many other projects.
Andrej Klančar
Since 2009, Andrej has been leading the company Klančar Žerjavi d.o.o. with passion and drive, even though he never dreamed of taking over from his father. His father never pushed him in that direction. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana, specializing in entrepreneurship.
His initial vision upon taking over the company was to ensure its survival for at least five years. Another vision was to create a dream team of around ten people who would not just be numbers but would live for this company.
The vision has come true, as today, the company boasts excellent relationships among more than 40 employees, a recognition highlighted by the nomination for the Best Employer Zlata nit 2021.
Passionate, professional, and cheerful
Day by day, our team is growing larger and stronger. New members, new projects, and, of course – an increasing number of cranes on the horizon.
