Self-erecting crane at the take-off ramp
The most challenging part of the project was accessing the take-off ramp. The path leading there goes through steep and winding forest roads, and the crane was a 20-ton giant, 14 meters long. Therefore, before execution, it was necessary to minimize the risk of problems during crane transportation. It all paid off when the crane was finally positioned just below the ski jumping hill’s starting ramp. The sight of the crane in such an iconic location of Slovenian sports truly left a deep impression on our memories.
